10/25/11

Okay, so I have been slacking.  I mentioned in one of my first posts that it is really hard for me to stick with things, but today I started all over again.  I woke up this risk cold morning and got on the road.  It was amazing!  I fed Ewan and gave him to his daddy to watch for a bit, then went.  I love my life and family, but for that hour I didn't have to worry about anyone else besides myself. Today I decided to also add a healthy diet to my exercise plan in hopes that loosing weight will encourage me and make running easier.  So today I ate pretty well except for some chocolate covered pretzels that I found.  They were a little too yummy to resist.  So I figured I would weigh myself every Sunday.  But I thought I would start today.  I weigh 261 pounds.  Here is a picture of me and Ewan.  I realized looking through my pictures that I don't have very many pictures of myself since I had Ewan.  And the pictures I do have I don't like very much.  Ewan is adorable and I love to take his picture, but I am self conscious about the weight I have put on since I got pregnant and had him. So I figured putting it out there for the world to see will inspire me to get it down. I have decided to track my weight and the miles I go.  Today I ran a mile and walked 1.5, for a total of 2.5 miles.
